More sewing projects...

I made these cute boots for my niece in Vermont.

I love how inexpensive they are to make as well!

I bought a quilt and some curtains from IKEA for Eowyn's room.
Now, if you've ever purchased curtains from IKEA, you'll know how very loooong they are!
I had to cut and hem 14-15 inches and they still touch the floor, which I like.
Not wanting to waste the fabric, I made some throw pillows for her crib!

The envelope style pillow is so simple!
I love the Dick and Jane fabric I used on the backs.

Wow! Look at you go! Little Miss Crafty Queen. :) When you say how easy the envelope style pillows are to make, my brain goes blank. It hurts to think about it. Ha ha ha!

Yes that is my eyeball saying hello.

The eyeball picture explained: I was celebrating Holi at the local Krishna temple and just loved how colorful the picture turned out! Finally, a picture of me I like and it is just my eyeballs. Go figure.

My hubby "Dr Nate" is a Physicist currently working on his PhD.
I have been a belly dancer for 16 years, a professional henna artist for 5 years, and a mother for 10 years. We have 5 kids ages: 9, 7, 4, 18 months, and 5 months.

I love being a SAHM, even the gross parts like cleaning up pooh and pee. {That doesn't sound like I thought it would.....}I just started sewing in October of last year and have become slightly obsessed with it, but I enjoy the learning and creating.
